Ladies of Harley

Hi, my name is Sally lawson and i am a qualified staff nurse and holistic therapist. I have a salon in my home in Bishop Auckland and treat private clients. I was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire and moved to the Midlands when i was 13. I lived in Somerset for 2 years before seeing the light and moving to the North East. My interests are DIY, gardening, tropical fish, rugby, motorcycling, dogs and socialising!!
I have had several bikes over he years which include a kawasaki and yamaha 125 trials bike, Rd250LC, Suzuki Gs500E, Honda CBR6, yamaha R6, yamaha fazer 1000, R6 and Harley Davidson Streetbob. I no longer have the
streetbob following an off in sept 07 but i am hoping to get back in the saddle asap. I am signed up for the IAM but had unfortunately come off the bike prior to it arriving in the post, which i did find amusing!!
My plans for the year are to work with the chapter members and commitee alike and feed ideas between the two. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome and if you want to take part in a particular event, please pm or call me to discuss it and i will pass it on. I am the voice of the ladies so use it, dont sit back and be shy, get involved and help the chapter move forward.
May i wish everyone a great 2008 in your privates lives and in your riding lives.
Ladies of Harley is about ladies – riders and non riders getting together to have as much fun as guys either at mixed or ladies only events. LOH has been represented from the beginning of the Geordie Chapter and is growing steadily month by month. At present we organise, social events, raffles, charity fund-raisers etc, Which take place at various times of the year. The LOH Officer represents the voice of the ladies of the Geordie Chapter so that we get our say regarding, future events, ride outs etc, so if you have any ideas or comments, please let me know and I will feed them back to the committee on your behalf. Becoming a member of LOH is automatic if you own a Harley and join HOG. You can join as an associate member if you have a husband, partner or good friend who is a HOG member. The cost is £25 per year at present; you will receive a special embroidered patch and year pin. Members can then join the Geordie Chapter and have input as well as participating in all of the activities. .Ride safe.
